2026 Outlook – State Policy in Textile EPR
The emergence of textile extended producer responsibility (EPR) legislation across the United States presents a learning curve for policymakers and stakeholders, alike. As we look to the year ahead, this webinar will bring attendees up to speed on where EPR currently stands in the U.S., and what to expect from forthcoming state EPR proposals. You’ll hear from compliance and legal experts, as well as legislative policy leaders, who will discuss the following:
The status of textile EPR policy across the country: where are bills moving, where are they stalled, what roadblocks exist, and more
What motivates a state legislator to address the textile waste crisis, and what principles guide their approach
How inconsistent laws across states impact businesses and what can be done to get ahead of it
Meet the Panel:
The Honorable Kristine Reeves, District 30 Representative, Washington House of Representatives
Ms. Sheila Millar, Partner, Keller and Heckman LLP
Ms. Andriana Kontovrakis, Director of EPR Solutions, Reverse Logistics Group
